Become a Friend

As a Friend you will:
  • Save at least £5 postage and packaging on each catalogue purchase.
  • Receive details of forthcoming publications.
  • Receive regular updates on the project.

The price of becoming a Friend for 12 months is £20. If you would like to become a Friend for the life of the project the price is £150.


If you are considering becoming a Friend please note that the following volumes of Oil Paintings in Public Ownership are in preparation and The Public Catalogue Foundation expects to publish them in 2009:

  • City of London
  • Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire
  • Derbyshire
  • South Yorkshire
  • Northumberland, Tees Valley & Tyne and Wear

How to Become a Friend

To become a Friend follow the steps shown below. Please note that the only way to buy membership online is to do so at the same time as buying a catalogue (thereby receiving free postage and packaging for your first catalogue).

First, choose which type of Friend you would like to become (please note this is only open to UK residents):

  • Annual Friend: price £20
  • Life Friend: price £150
There are then three simple ways to pay to become a Friend:
  • Buy on-line using a credit card or debit card at the same time as you buy a catalogue
  • Print out an order form and send it with your payment to The Public Catalogue Foundation
  • Ring The Public Catalogue Foundation on 0207 395 0332
