Permitted Use of Images on www.thepcf.org.uk, www.bbc.co.uk/yourpaintings and http://tagger.thepcf.org.uk/

Images and data associated with the paintings may be reproduced for non-commercial research and private study purposes as well as other uses permitted under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, as amended and revised.

However, for ALL other uses, you need to actively obtain further consent from the contributing collection. Where the underlying painting is in copyright (this is where the artist is alive or died in the last 70 years), further permissions will also be needed from the artists, their estates or nominated rights holder/s. The contributing collection may be able to help you concerning the clearance of further rights in the original work.
